PROTECTING FUTURES

The world of social housing regulation and accountability is fast evolving, our Governance & Assurance team is taking major strides to enhance the development of an effective assurance framework underpinning our strong social purpose and provision of customer-centric services as we deliver ‘Great Places’, ‘Great Services’ and ‘Great Tomorrows’.

As a result we’re investing in our governance arrangements to build on the strong foundations we already have in place and so we’re on the hunt for a Risk Business Partner to join our growing Futures Housing Group Governance team.

You’ll definitely be looking for variation in your new role and will have the perfect platform to showcase your ability to lead and support across all teams through the development of risk and compliance frameworks at service level.

You’re going to want to be involved, you love working with multiple teams and can build and maintain strong working relationships with just about everyone. You’re a problem solver too, happy to put those strong analytical skills of yours to good use.

You’re not afraid to challenge the risk ‘status quo’, you’ve great attention to detail complementing your strong auditing mindset, you’re pragmatic, have a keen eye for detail and are super confident in your strong IT skills to support you within the role.

With your application we would like a covering letter of no more than one page telling us how you feel your skills, competencies and experience match the role profile. You should also explain how you align with our culture and values. You can include this in your CV document or email to recruitment@futureshg.co.uk

IF YOU’RE SUCCESSFUL

You’ll be joining a highly motivated and growing team, determined to play our part in responding to the delivery of the Charter for Social Housing residents. You can bring all your skills and experience to the role which will help us improve our systems for:

  • partnering with colleagues across the business to manage and mitigate risks
  • ensuring we have great data providing information that enables us to take great decisions
  • leading on data protection
  • providing quality support for our Boards, Committees, executive and internal teams

THAT SOUNDS LIKE ME. WHAT CAN YOU OFFER

It’s an exciting time of change at Futures Housing Group! We’ve just moved to a state-of-the-art, flexible new workspace so you’ll have both great people and a great environment around you when you need to attend the office. We’ll also provide you with an agile kit and access to Touchdown Points where you can plug in to a workstation, catch up with colleagues and attend local meetings.

We’ve recently signed up to Harry’s Pledge, a campaign to support people who are working but also looking after a friend or family member who needs extra help. We know balancing work and caring is tough and that’s why we have an extra focus on supporting team members in this situation. To help, we organise regular virtual support groups, have an Employee Assistance Scheme with 24/7 counselling, and offer Flexible Working from day one, helping you to stay happy at work and at home.

This year we’ve been awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award – the highest of IiP accreditation. The award recognises organisations which are passionate about making sure all employees get the best experience at work.
