As a Procurement Officer you will be joining a specialist team to maximise opportunities throughout the supply chain and managing all procurement and commercial requirements to ensure compliance across the business in relation to business objectives.

What we’re looking for:






  • Do you have a clear understanding of public sector procurement and some knowledge of the OJEU/FTS process?

  • Have you got strong ability to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards?

  • Are you experienced working within a Social Housing/Public Sector environment?





If so, this is the perfect role for you!





We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Officer role to join us on a Fixed term contract basis. We are looking for a confident and personable team player who can adapt to change. You will have the responsibility for below threshold procurements for various projects and help to drive supply chain improvement both internally and externally.



Do you have what it takes?





To succeed in your role as a Procurement Officer you:






  • Must be an ambitious individual with an enthusiasm to take their procurement career to the next level.






  • Need to manage the end-to-end tender process for below threshold procurements, managing all procurement and commercial requirements to ensure compliance across the business in relation to business objectives.






  • A proven ability to confidently engage stakeholders and build rapport at all levels across the organisation.






  • The ability to manage & prioritise a heavy workload to meet deadlines.






  • To be able to use E-Tendering tools, such as Delta






  • Be a confident communicator with an empathetic ear






  • Deliver easy, reliable, empathetic service to your internal and external customers, by seeking to understand fully your customers’ needs, identifying, and working to remove pain points, and always doing what you say you will.
