We deliver excellent services, going the extra mile to ensure our customers get what they need. We are proud to be one of the Top 40 Not for Profit organisations to work for, based on feedback from our fantastic staff team.

About the Role

We are looking for a new business analyst team member who will strengthen our data and project team. It would suit someone who is a good researcher, listener, communicator and problem solver who is keen to interact with the business to tease out the details in order to make considered recommendations.

This role can be performed from home (although collaboration at our city centre office may be required when safe to do so) however, should your circumstances require it, a permanent desk can be made available in our Gloucester office.

Ideally you will have come from an environment where you will have had experience of an equivalent role, with experience of Business Analysis tools and techniques, knowledge of how data insights can be used to create meaningful processes and a good awareness of Information Security and data transformation. Additionally, you will be used to working with 3rd party suppliers in a results-focused, multi stakeholder environment.

This role will be responsible for translating business requirements into functionality, assessment of the risks, opportunities, and business impacts. To identify pains and make recommendations for gains in order to deliver the required business outcomes and enable leaner processes as the liaison between the business and developers. Responsibilities also include supporting Agile (Scrum) development teams to procure, build and deploy new systems and services.

About You

Could you be the missing part of our puzzle? A strong ambassador for GCH, you will excel in service delivery and delivering great customer experience. A confident communicator, you will build strong relationships with our customers and across our organisation and the community. We want someone to join the team who is passionate about working on behalf of the business to help us transform – better systems, better data, better reporting.

If you feel you meet the following attributes, we hope you will apply!

  • Be able to manage and plan your business analysis activities
  • Be able to present findings through reports and visualisation enabling a greater understanding of the “why” to enable the “how”.
  • A logical and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to create and maintain precise and clear documentation for discovery and specification.
  • Someone who embraces a culture of continual improvement in the solutions that we deliver and the way that we deliver them, including your own skills, methods and attributes.
  • You must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills along with a strong customer focus and an ability to understand the needs and perceptions of clients.

What is in it for you?

You will join a team who consist of Database Administrators, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and a Business Intelligence Developer.

We like to reward our employees for their hard work. We all benefit from some great perks including
