The vacancy

Two Rivers Housing is an independent not-for-profit housing association based in the Forest of Dean with over 4,500 homes across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire with ambitious plans for future growth. We now have an opportunity for a Compliance Project Manager to join us to be responsible for the overall planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and control of compliance contracts.

 

You will manage our compliance servicing programmes ensuring we achieve defined targets in terms of statutory, regulatory and best practice standards. You will also ensure the maintenance projects and services within the remit of this post are implemented in accordance with corporate property related strategies such as Asset Management Strategy, Construction Procurement Strategy and wider service delivery strategies such as customer Satisfaction, Access Strategy and Value for Money Strategy.

 

Other key responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and undertake the required cost management and reporting. Ensuring appropriate performance management controls are deployed per contract.
  • Successfully managing a small team to achieve required outcomes
  • Ensure on a project by project basis the organisation complies with the requirements of CDM 2015 and where applicable and the need arises, act in the capacity of the Principal Designer as detailed within CDM 2015.
  • Successful management of all aspects of sub- contract and suppliers procurement in accordance with policies, standing orders and financial regulations.
  • Ensuring any service repairs are completed within the agreed timescales.
  • Keeping customers informed about service requirements.
  • Ensure Two Rivers Housing remain compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements in regard to servicing and maintenance within social housing

     

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced project manager from the construction / property sector. Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen are essential and you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of statutory, H&S legislation, contract and regulatory requirements pertaining to the housing sector.

 

A good people manager, you will have the ability to coach and motivate members of the team and be able to problem solve and work under pressure to strict deadlines.

 

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other project management software/Housing databases is also required
