Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that manages West Northamptonshire Council's housing services. We provide homes which enable people to live happy and healthy lives in enriched communities. We are passionate about the delivery of an approved rolling 5yr and 30yr capital programmes for housing investment and seek a Director of Asset Management to help us meet our future ambitions.
The Role
Working as part of the Executive Management Team you will provide leadership and direction to the management of the asset stock for NPH. You will deliver a number of NPH’s key strategies including, the Asset Management Strategy and Environmental Sustainability Plan.
The role represents a truly unique opportunity for an exceptional individual who has the ability to combine their commercial acumen, political awareness and personal resilience to deliver 'value for money’ outcomes. The post provides a fantastic opportunity to work at a senior level with considerable scope to develop and implement significant strategies that will make a real difference to the local community.
The Person
The successful candidate will have a significant amount of recent relevant experience at a senior level and professional qualifications in a relevant area. In addition, they will have a track record of successfully leading a department that has delivered asset management projects in a public or commercial environment.
The Package
- Salary - circa £78k per annum.
- 27 Days Annual Leave (rising to 32 days after 5 years’ service), plus bank holidays.
- Enrolment into the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Northampton Partnership Homes is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that is responsible for the management of Council housing services.
From 5th January 2015, Northampton Partnership Homes (NPH) has been managing the provision of all the housing services of Northampton Borough Council (NBC) related to its own stock.
NPH is an Arm’s Length Management Organisation that is wholly owned by the Council but has its own Board of Directors. It is a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) and is a not for profit organisation. This means that income will be put back into providing housing and housing related services.
NPH has been set up by NBC for an initial period of 15 years and is responsible for the following services:
- Allocations and Lettings
- Repairs and Maintenance
- Housing Management, including dealing with anti-social behaviour
- Tenancy Support
- Tenant Involvement
- Ecton Lane Park traveller site
