We are recruiting for an Income Officer.
At the Hyde Group, we see a future that creates a great home for everyone. We are a leading provider of affordable homes. We are doers - professional, ambitious and open. Together, our values reflect an organisation built on a culture of achievement.
As part of the Income team, you will centrally manage the prevention and recovery of rent arrears and other debts for all tenure types in an efficient manner, providing a professional and proficient customer-focused service to residents. This will include, but not be limited to, rent accounts, homeowner accounts, sundry accounts and former tenant accounts.
Duties of a Rent Arrears Income Officer:
- Take the lead on responding back to all resident correspondence regarding the management of their account, and ensure they are resolved in a manner that improves overall customer satisfaction/experience.
- Enable residents to manage themselves through welfare reform changes in line with the agenda.
- Maintain expertise and knowledge on welfare reform to provide advice and guidance.
- Ensure residents receive appropriate advice and guidance regarding benefits and welfare entitlements to maximise their potential income, making appropriate referrals where identified.
We offer a great flexible benefits package, the ability to engage in flexible working, 26 days annual holiday and a 35 hour working week and the opportunity to work for an organisation whose social purpose is to help provide people with a home.
Diversity and inclusion are integral to the Hyde Group as a social business, and critical in delivering our vision of a great home for everyone. We strive to build and nurture a culture where inclusivity is the norm and not an initiative. Many of the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences, and we’re committed to cultivating an inclusive workplace which reflects our customer profile and where everyone is proud to be unique.
