MAXIMISING FUTURES

We’re looking for an Asset Surveyor, who really knows what they are doing, in return we’ll provide the perfect platform to showcase the skills gained in your career so far.

You don’t need (or want) your manager sat next to you, pre-approving every decision you make but you’ll work together closely as they are keen to hear your ideas and listen to your fresh perspective about different ways of doing things.

You’ll love variety in your role as it's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the autonomy of managing their own diary with a mix of both office time and being out and about.

As well as your technical expertise, major factors to your success will be your business partnering approach, communication skills and ability to build strong relationships as you work collaboratively with all.

You’ll be at ease with data, it’s interpretation and presentation, you’ll definitely need those strong IT skills of yours and familiarity with management information systems too!

THAT SOUNDS LIKE ME. WHAT CAN YOU OFFER

We're a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include agile working, mileage, private healthcare options, discount schemes and with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You’ll also have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive.

It’s an exciting time of change at Futures Housing Group! We've moved our main office to a state-of-the-art, flexible new workspace, however in this role the need to attend the office will be on ‘occasional business need’ basis so we’ll provide you with a great agile kit to get on with the job wherever you do your best work!

We’ve also recently signed up to Harry’s Pledge, a campaign to support people who are working but also looking after a friend or family member who needs extra help. We know balancing work and caring is tough and that’s why we have an extra focus on supporting team members in this situation. To help, we organise regular virtual support groups, have an Employee Assistance Scheme with 24/7 counselling, and offer Flexible Working from day one, helping you to stay happy at work and at home.

2021 we were awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award – the highest of IiP accreditation. The award recognises organisations which are passionate about making sure all employees get the best experience at work.
