Fixed Term Contract until end of February 2023

Joining us as Data Architect, you’ll be responsible for defining the data architecture required to ensure that the organisation maximises value from data and supports the changed needed to realise this vision.

Your job will be to develop a common data model to support consumption of our data sets, their characteristics, metadata and attributes. You will develop a way of providing for multiple user views of the data, working with Technology Services to move them to a single repository, and take responsibility for managing numerous current data sets we hold, together with any sources that come in to the organisation. You’ll lead with the delivery of data sets into a single repository and provide access to the repository across the business.

This role will be at the forefront of enabling organisational change, as we evolve as an innovative digitally focussed housing association.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science or have the equivalent level of experience.
• Have significant experience in a data delivery role.
• Have significant knowledge and experience of data modelling tools and techniques including dimensional modelling and master data management techniques.
• Have knowledge of implementing data solutions using modern technologies and automation methodologies with Azure.
• Have excellent delivery skills with a proven track record of delivering large scale change on time and to budget.
• Be confident in decision making, able to explain processes or choices as necessary.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
