The Role:

Two brand new positions have arisen in Trafford Housing Trust’s Neighbourhoods Team for the role of Housing Officer - Estates, these roles will be focussed on making a difference to the external environment in our neighbourhoods. The successful post holders will work with customers and outside agencies to establish community schemes and promote community activities such as gardening schemes. You will also liaise with external partners such as City of Trees to establish volunteer and employment opportunities for our customers.

The successful candidate will lead on case management for our abandoned cars, untidy gardens and taking the lead on THT’s ‘items in communal areas’ procedures and the effective management and improvement of our communal areas, green spaces, play areas and trees.

The Person:

This role will be crucial to the successful collaboration activities and improvements within our Neighbourhoods. We are looking for an individual who has experience of a fast-paced customer focused environment. Being organised, Planning, collaborating, and engaging others are key skills needed in this role, as is the ability to think and act quickly.
