We are looking to add to our successful team of L&OD professionals with three specialist training roles that will help us ensure our people have the right skills and knowledge to do a great job and make the difference for our customers. 

 

About the Role:

 

Our Health and Safety Training Advisor will help to manage and coordinate the training and development activities specific to our Home Repairs Team including delivery, assessment, quality assurance and administration of mandatory and specialist training.

 

They will work in partnership with our Home Repairs Team to identify and mitigate risk, taking a hands-on, proactive role in supporting a culture of safety compliance across the team.

 

They will ensure our colleagues are adequately assessed and qualified in line with regulatory requirements at the point of recruitment. They will also plan, coordinate and deliver a health and safety induction, as well as delivering refresher and ad hoc training as required by the team to maintain high standards of operation and an excellent customer experience. 

 

 

About you:

 

You will be a confident, dynamic and highly motivated individual, who can engage and motivate colleagues across the HRS team and in the wider organisation. 

 

You will have experience in developing and implementing health and safety strategies, systems, policy and procedures in a housing organisation or similar, incorporating a compliant management approach.

 

You will have strong evidence of co-ordinating, designing and delivering programmes of H&S and Compliance related training to a varied audience within an organisation.

 

You will have extensive knowledge and understanding of current health and safety legislation approved Codes of Practice, policies and procedures applicable to the construction industry.
