We’re looking for a proactive, energetic and highly organised Lettings Manager to join our brilliant Lettings team. You’ll be joining an innovative social housing provider, with ambitious growth plans, so we’re interested in hearing from individuals who are ready to embrace their next challenge.

What you'll be doing

  • You’ll lead a team to offer excellent customer service in marketing and letting our homes across all tenures and products including Social Media, Rightmove, nominations and CBL schemes.
  • You’ll ensure we track our portfolio of rented products, offering the right tenancy on sign up and ensuring that customers are proactively contacted to discuss their housing options.
  • Also, you’ll continue to develop the Lettings service in collaboration with our internal teams and external partners. You’ll lead, engage and develop your people to become a high performing team. You’ll work to ensure the development of the Lettings service across all rented products – social, affordable and market – so that it continually improves.
  • You’ll monitor and review teams and individual performance against the required YH standards, setting clear expectations and feedback opportunities to create a culture of excellency.

The stuff that sets you apart

  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent experience
  • Experience of managing a lettings team in a social housing setting
  • Able to demonstrate ability to lead, develop and motivate a remote team.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory framework
  • Experience of successful relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex data  with comprehensive IT experience especially in MS products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage your own workload and to meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes.

This is agile position and in line with our hub, home and roam strategy, you do need to be able to commute around Leeds and Yorkshire regularly for face to face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
