Joining our established Domestic Abuse Services as Domestic Abuse Transformation Manager, you will work alongside commissioners, stakeholders and customers in the Brighton & Hove area, in re-designing the Domestic Abuse service provision.

You’ll engage with and actively participate in the delivery of the regional Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse Strategic Framework and associated multi-agency action plans, recognising that changes in legislation, and collaborative development will influence service re-design. You will work with the local authority and it’s partners to improve and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and ensure genuine customer involvement and survivor voice in all aspects of service design. You’ll lead project re-design and facilitate effective, clear and timely communication with relevant stakeholders and champion and celebrate diversity, ensuring the service re-design and model is inclusive.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a background in Domestic Abuse / VAWG or other relevant field.
  • Have knowledge of the key legislation in the field including the Domestic Abuse Act.
  • Understand modern and best practice models around Domestic Abuse service delivery and re-design.
  • Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have exceptional communication and customer service skills, able to develop positive, productive relationships.
  • Have good project management skills.

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
