We are currently looking for a highly organised and experienced finance professional to join us as an Accounts Receivable Assistant.

What you will be doing: 

  • Assist the maintenance of bpha’s bank accounts for area of responsibility, posting transactions on a timely basis.
  • Processing direct debit collections.
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the debtor ledger, raising invoices and posting receipts.
  • Processing monthly nominal ledger reconciliations as directed.
  • Extracting all housing management system interface files daily into the finance system.

We’d love to meet someone with:  

  • Previous experience within a finance role, ideally within Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger or Credit Control.
  • Experience of working with direct debits.
  • Strong IT skills to include intermediate level in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and experience using financial accounting systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an empathic approach to vulnerable customers. 
  • Good numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
