Salary: £42,106 pa + Essential Car User Allowance

Hours: 35 hours per week - agile working arrangements in place

As a not-for-profit housing association, we provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester. We build affordable new homes, work with partners to reduce homelessness and support people to reach their potential.
Our customer corporate objective is to help customers to achieve and maintain a successful tenancy by providing a home that’s right for them and offer tailored support when and where needed. To do this we will; Create a place based tailored service that provides clarity of responsibility for both colleagues and customers, where we do what we say and have a clear focus on outcomes.
This post will work with all relevant teams to deliver a customer focused Home Move, Tenancy & Estate Management service and attain excellent performance standards and outcomes.
In this role, you will be responsible for
- The effective management of letting our homes, tenancy / estate management and customers
- Agreeing and delivering targets that support our key corporate objectives & priorities
- Work with partner agencies, voluntary agencies and residents
- Develop, deliver and monitor a coordinated and consistent approach to the delivery of Tenancy Management
- Ensure the clear demonstration of a community focus with services tailored for the locality, adopting the place-based approach to support customers, meet local aspirations, address local priorities.
- Support the Estates Manager with the monitoring and management of Neighbourhoods contracts including ground maintenance, communal cleaning and window cleaning services;
- In conjunction with all relevant managers ensure effective monitoring and control of delegated budgets
- Develop and maintain strong positive working relationships between all relevant internal teams in order to ensure the delivery of seamless, excellent customer experience
We need people who are / have
- Experience of working in a similar role dealing of Tenancy Management and Lettings processes in Social Housing
- Knowledge of Housing legislation
- Able to deal with challenging situations and complex lifestyles as well as members of the public
- Knowledge of the political and legislative influences which may affect service delivery
Please note a Valid Driving Licence, valid MOT Certificate and Business Use Insurance will be required for this role.
