We are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to support the Senior Finance Business Partner. Internally you will be known as a Management Accountant.
At the Hyde Group, our vision is to provide a great home for everyone. Our values guide the way we operate as a business: we’re customer driven, inclusive, collaborative and innovative.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work in the Customer Function supporting the Chief Customer Officer and her Senior Leadership team. This is a broad management accounting role, responsible for the month end accounting process, reviewing variances and writing commentary as well as updating the monthly and quarterly forecast and producing the annual budget submission.
You will be confident dealing with large volumes of complex data and have the ability to analyse and then communicate their findings with non-finance stakeholders, holding workshops and presenting information.
Duties of a Finance Business Partner:
- Utilise strong management accounting skill to prepare consistent commentary and analysis for Business Managers.
- Produce accurate monthly financial performance information, annual budgets and in-year forecasts in line with published timetables, providing internal business managers across the organisation with the appropriate information and tools to ensure service delivery within agreed financial targets.
- Pro-actively seek commercially focused opportunities to enhance financial performance against targets.
- Maximise the use of the corporate database systems to maintain, manage and produce relevant reports for management
- Support the Financial Controller in providing financial analysis to review business decisions and challenge managers on costs, assumptions and process to ensure the business is operating in a professional and commercial manner.
- Establish and develop close working relationships with the Business Managers to delivery standard and ad hoc financial performance reports (and supporting analysis).
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, highlighting any potential risks to financial performance from the balance sheet and pro-actively managing these risks.
We offer a great flexible benefits package, a 35 hour working week, a fantastic pension scheme and the opportunity to work for an organisation whose social purpose is to help provide people with a home.
Diversity and inclusion are integral to the Hyde Group as a social business, and critical in delivering our vision of a great home for everyone. We strive to build and nurture a culture where inclusivity is the norm and not an initiative. Many of the greatest ideas and discoveries come from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds and experiences, and we’re committed to cultivating an inclusive workplace which reflects our customer profile and where everyone is proud to be unique.
