Formed in April 2015 from a historic merger between two of Manchester’s largest housing associations – City South and Eastlands Homes. This opportunity has arisen to lead operationally and strategically on all financial inclusion matters and services for One Manchester and to work collaboratively in partnership with the other managers to understand and deliver the key business priorities, objectives and performance indicators within the Customer function for a defined geographical area.
You will ensure Income Collection across all areas is maximised, including One Manchester’s commercial, affordable, home ownership and leasehold tenures, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation at all times. You will ensure income collection is maximised and business plan assumptions are met across all tenures in line with performance indicators ensuring the service strikes the appropriate balance of support and enforcement.
With good knowledge of the provision of advice on benefits and tax credits including relevant legislation such as Welfare Reform Act 2012, you will have experience of providing high quality, responsive and value for money, income recovery services across a range of tenures and types of debt.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a good understanding of the key impacts of Universal Credit and you will have experience of providing high quality, pro-active and value for money financial inclusion and debt advice services.

The appointment will be made on the basis of a Full Time, Permanent basis and will be hybrid with homeworking and some occasional office /patch work.
