Our aim at Stonewater is to design data solutions to enable us to deliver our vision ‘for everyone to have an opportunity to have a place they can call home’. The Data Analyst role sits within the Data Team and supports us on our journey for self-service reporting.

In line with Stonewater’s strategy, you’ll create and facilitate efficient and value for money technical solutions to meet the reporting needs of the business. You’ll support the Data team’s ownership of the Power BI platform, by building and maintaining, workspaces, dashboards, datasets, and reports, and elicit underlying data and process issues that need to be understood and documented for accurate reporting. Using a variety of analytical techniques, you’ll discover any challenges with the data/processes documenting all findings within User Stories in DevOps.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven experience of applying analytical skills to complex technical and business processes and recommend solutions, focusing on successful delivery outcomes.
  • Have proven experience in delivering IT based projects using a structured methodology, actively involved in projects through the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation and training.
  • Be skilled in building Power BI datasets from a variety of data sources (mainly SQL and Excel).
  • Have hands-on experience of DAX, Power Query, and Measures.
  • Have experience of Power BI apps to present dashboards and reports.
  • Be an excellent communicator with good influencing and persuading skills.
  • Be able to adapt to a continually changing environment with a significant program of business change.
  • Be able to work under pressure to accommodate project deadlines.
  • Be able to organise and prioritise own workload.
  • IT related qualifications (desirable).
  • Have experience of the housing sector, with exposure to Active H (desirable).

Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check, satisfactory references, and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
