Do you have experience of working in property development within a residential or commercial environment? We’re looking for you!

We are proud to sit in the Top 50 developing Housing Associations in the country and work with partner registered providers in the Blue Skies Consortium to provide affordable new homes across the East Midlands. Join our friendly, supportive and professional Development team as a Project Manager.

We’re building new homes all the time – we work with 19 local authorities to build new affordable homes that meet the needs of people in their area. This includes homes for sale, rent, shared ownership and everything in between.

Showcase your knowledge, skills and abilities to NCHA and reap the development rewards and opportunities!

We are looking for someone with a warm smile and a great track record of delivering projects. Educated to degree level/or relevant professional qualification with current knowledge of building development processes, you will demonstrate outstanding project management.

Your problem solving abilities, excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills will be invaluable. You will also be familiar with the use of Microsoft spreadsheets, databases and other IT applications to retrieve and manipulate complex data.

Does this sound like you?

Reporting to the Development and New Business Manager, your duties and responsibilities will vary day to day but are not limited to:

  • Co-ordinating, progressing and delivering new development projects for affordable housing for NCHA and external clients.
  • Liaising with staff, contractors, consultants and local authorities to ensure the effective delivery of new homes in accordance with NCHA’s development procedures and developing partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Manage the capital budgets of schemes against approved budgets, agreed targets and grant administration systems of the Homes England or other bodies.

A valid driving licence and access to a car is essential as you will be required to cover projects in the East Midlands and attend external stakeholder and building site meetings.

All successful candidates will be required to take a work-related test at the interview.

As an Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident Employer, NCHA welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates including those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and disabled candidates. As part of our LGBT + Allies Programme, we also welcome applications from members of the LGBT + community and encourage inclusivity in the workplace.

The Company

We’re Nottingham Community Housing Association, known to many as NCHA. We’ve been around since 1973, and we're really proud of that. We're more than just a housing association: we deliver care and support to people all over the East Midlands.
