Job Details

Are you a motivated and passionate qualified Lawyer looking for a new challenge working for the UK's largest Housing Association?

We're currently recruiting for a Property Lawyer to join our team on a permanent basis and we're looking for exceptional people to apply. You can be based from either our London, Kent or Birmingham office with the flexibility to work from home. We are open to applicants who are looking for full or part time hours.

In a nutshell, you'll be responsible for providing high quality legal advice and representation on property related matters and other legal matters to all internal clients in order to protect the interests of Clarion.

Some of the other key duties will include:

  • You'll provide legal advice and assistance in property matters, including undertaking freehold and leasehold, residential and commercial, conveyancing transactions and drafting transfers, leases, development agreements, management agreements, deeds, reports on title, certificates and other property related documents and advising on regulatory issues.

  • You'll assist in developing the in-house legal provision to meet the needs of Clarion and its Group partners, ensuring that legal work is carried out in-house where this is most cost effective and that communication between instructing officers and the Legal Services Team is effective and efficient.

  • You'll keep abreast of the constitutional, legal and regulatory framework within which housing associations operate and to ensure that such knowledge is disseminated to encourage a knowledgeable and compliance focussed culture.

  • Work collaboratively and support the other members of the Property Legal Services Team.

  • Assist in the provision of training to colleagues across the Group on property law and other matters to develop their skills.

To be successful in this role, we'll require you to have significant experience as a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with experience of undertaking residential and commercial conveyancing and providing property law advice.

If you feel your attributes, experience and skillset match our requirements, then we'd love to hear from you.
