Job Details

We’re looking for a talented individual with a proven track record of hitting tough targets for delivery of schemes to practical solution to join our Development Construction team as Development Manager and manage the delivery of a portfolio of schemes.

You will be leading and managing a team to deliver a programme of developments through to handover and final evaluation, as well as project managing individual schemes. You will also manage budgets and programmes to ensure targets are met and that the portfolio of schemes is handed over on time, on budget and to agreed standards. You’ll have lead responsibility for resolving construction issues, taking corrective action when necessary and adhering to compliance regulation requirements.

What you’ll need
Experienced in development construction delivery, you have a strong understanding of planning legislation, contract law, building regulations, building safety compliance and audit compliance. You’ll ideally be educated to degree/HND level or equivalent, or be working towards attaining membership of RICS or CIOB. A perennial high achiever who works well under pressure, you will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be committed to providing excellent customer service to internal and external clients. You’ll possess excellent negotiation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate how you value, create and sustain stakeholder relationships. You’ll be analytical in your approach and be able to interrogate financial information. You’ll also need to be fully self-sufficient, organised and proficient in IT and Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

Flexible office location based in our offices in Croydon London, Sittingbourne Kent or Battle East Sussex, covering schemes in all operational areas.
