Are you looking for a Housing development role that allows you to balance your work and home life commitments and where you will make a real difference for those in housing need in Derby?

We will welcome both part-time and full-time applications and offer flexible hours with a mix of office and home working as well as 26 days holiday per year (based on a 37-hour working week) plus Bank Holidays. Whilst we’ll support you to achieve professional success, we can also offer the flexibility so that you can balance the demands of both home and professional life.

We are looking for somebody experienced in the affordable housing sector to work within the Housing Development team on the delivery of new affordable homes in Derby. You would lead on new build developments as part of a wider Capital Programme seeing projects through from conception to completion ensuring they are viable and delivered within budget, to the agreed quality standards and on programme.

We have ambitious plans to significantly increase the scale and pace of our development programme, whilst at the same time driving down carbon emissions and increasing biodiversity opportunities.
