Walterton and Elgin Community Homes (WECH) is a resident-controlled housing association, based within the Maida Hill area of North Westminster. We have just under 700 homes, a rich history and bold aims for the future.
You will have strong housing management experience, including a good knowledge of all the main tenure types and relevant housing law. You are required to be a housing professional and have housing qualifications. You may already have worked in a leadership role, but we are also interested in ambitious applicants who are making the step up from manager to a leadership role for the first time.
WECH is far more than a small housing association. We are a Community Land Trust, we are resident-controlled, and we aim to use our assets to improve the community. In addition to recently developing 43 new homes, we have built a new community centre and a park. We also carry out contracts for the local authority. You will ensure we remain a well-run housing provider offering excellent customer service, but also that we provide great neighbourhoods to live in.
Equality and diversity are intrinsic to the way that WECH works. We have recently been awarded Investors In People accreditation.
If you would like to be part of our future and a leader in a nationally recognised example of resident control, please download our recruitment pack and apply online here.
