The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plasterer within the Property Services team. Reporting to the Voids Assistant Manager, the main responsibilities of the role are to:

• Carry out trade duties for the property services team to THT specifications and standards
• Carry our first, second and final fix works and associated building works to specification
• Complete timesheets and other relevant documentation to the required standard
• To adhere to Health and Safety guidance
• To adhere to risk assessments and method statements as required
• Work flexibly across all areas of property services and also in dealing with contractors
• Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and managers to ensure the effectiveness of the property services department
• To undertake relevant training as an when required

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Plastering
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Good standard of education, in particular, GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
• Knowledge of building safety and good health and safety awareness
• Experience dealing with customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and be a self -starter

A clean and valid driving licence is essential for this role and a vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate
