About the role
As one of our generic Housing Officer’s you will be responsible for delivering housing services directly to the residents on your patch. You will be expected to meet key performance targets and deliver our customer service standards in rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, lettings, void management, customer satisfaction and community events. All of our Housing Officer’s work independently over a large geographical area managing a very varied and rewarding workload

About you
You will need to be highly visible to our customers, extremely well organised, and know how to effectively manage yourself and your work. In addition to working remotely, you will need to be an effective team player with an eye for detail and the ability to construct creative solutions to complex issues impacting our customers. You will be motivated and customer-focussed, where no two days are the same. And you’ll do all of this with the personal touch that Hastoe is renowned for
Essential skills:
• Previous experience in housing management
• Knowledge of rent collection processes
• Sound and up to date knowledge of the benefits system
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong team player
• Flexibility
• Access to your own car for business use
Benefits
Annual Leave: 25 days (increasing with service) + 1.5 days complimentary leave + option to purchase additional leave.
Pension: Employer contribution of 5%, giving a total combined contribution of 8% of salary (minimum employee contribution of 3%).
