We are currently looking for an experienced customer focussed Responsive and Voids Manager. 

In this key role you will effectively develop and deliver bpha’s responsive repairs and voids maintenance services. Reporting to the Head of Property Services you will be the technical and Health and Safety lead for the Repairs and Voids teams. 

 

What you will be doing:  

  • Lead and manage a technical team to ensure bpha deliver cost effective and customer driven responsive and void maintenance services. 

  • Effectively work with other members of Property Services to periodically review contractors’ working arrangements and health and safety documentation. 

  • Work closely with direct reports to ensure sufficient technical surveyor resources for both the responsive and void maintenance services. 

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership on service improvement within the two service areas, working with other business units to achieve this. 

  • Proactively manage and deal with customer complaints relating to the services. 

 

 We’d love to meet someone with:   

  • Degree level education or equivalent depth of relevant experience with another relevant qualification. 

  • Excellent customer care skills showing an understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity in all aspects of the role.  

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues with both internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Experience managing high value contracts and maintaining high levels of performance. 

  • Experience of managing a team. 

  • A full driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role you are required as part of the job role for visiting sites etc. This role is a Hybrid role  - flexibility from Home, Bedford Heights, Bedford and surrounding areas. 

 

Please note the successful candidate will need to complete a basic / enhanced DBS application.
