South Yorkshire Housing Association have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Operative (Joiner) to work within our Neighbourhood Environmental Action Team (NEAT). We are a forward thinking, values driven housing association. We cover a wide range of properties within the South Yorkshire area.

Job Description:

• Salary £26,332 per annum, pro rata
• 37 hours per week

More about the role:

We wish to appoint a skilled Maintenance Operative to our NEAT Team. The main duties will be to carry repairs (Joinery) on our void properties to a high standard. Other duties will include building flat pack furniture, basic plumbing, and all other minor repairs for the maintenance duties within this role. You will be working in a small team and will report to the NEAT Team Leader.

To meet the required criteria for this role you will need to tell us how you meet the following:

• Demonstrable experience and the ability to carry out joinery and maintenance repairs.
• Excellent team working skills.
• Be flexible and can carry out minor repairs requiring the skills of other trades.
• Awareness of health & safety relating to this role.
• Ability to solve problems
• A full and current driving Licence.
