Home Based with occasional travel to the Stoke on Trent office 

 

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager to provide accurate service charge and rents information to our customers. You’ll manage and progress the rents and service charges teams, dealing with the completion of annual rents / service charge processes, ensuring all compliance legislation is adhered to. This is a pivotal new role for us, so you’ll be an expert in your field, providing support to the company and helping to resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders. With a meticulous approach to work, you’ll ensure relevant data is accurately recorded, compiling reports that details financial  information including reconciliations. You will provide excellent support to the business to ensure adherence to all necessary regulatory requirements. 

 

AAT qualified or studying for a recognised accountancy or housing qualification, you will have experience of working with rents or service charges, including applications and systems, ideally within social housing. We’re looking for a confident and well organised individual with experience of service charge estimating, billing and production calculation of annual accounts and will be accustomed to analysing and reporting financial information. You will be highly numerically-minded with strong analytical skills and will demonstrate the ability to  prepare, interpret and model complex information accurately.  You will have extensive knowledge of rent and service charge regulations and legislation and will ensure that we continue to adhere to them at all times.  Customer-focused, you will build effective working relationships with all relevant stakeholders and provide support and advice on relevant financial matters.
