As part of our ambitious growth plans, we have brand-new opportunity for two Development Assistant's to join our Development team! The Development Assistant will be responsible for ensuring all internal systems and information is complete and kept up to date, providing key administrative duties relating to new business, partnerships, projects, and programme management.

The Development Assistant 

  • You will provide an exceptional customer experience both internally and externally, ensuring this is engaging and positive
  • You will process all payments within set deadlines, keeping records of all accounts for the development team, including project payments 
  • Monitoring of the development email inboxes, Sequel workflows and Orchard work trays
  • Working collaboratively with and supporting the wider Development Service and colleagues across all departments
  • Ensuring performance, financial, funders, statutory and other reporting and monitoring is timely and accurate and supplied to the Programme Manger 
  • Working collaboratively with Eastlight staff and development departments to ensure the development business plan is delivered to the Eastlight standard 
  • Assisting with the Development team members with Performance reporting requirements for the service 

About you

  • Self-motivated and accountable 
  • You will be a logical thinker, practical and solution focused 
  • Clear ability to meet and exceed agreed targets and deadlines 
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (oral and written) 
  • Shows commitment to making a difference and looks for ways to improve and enhance outcomes for the benefit of the organisation and its stakeholders 
  • Advanced IT skills, including ability to use MS Office and industry level software (Proval, Argus, Sequel)

  • Salary of £26,748 per annum
