We're looking to recruit a Data Analyst to support the development of the Internal Audit Function' data and reporting capabilities.
You'll be using your knowledge of Microsoft applications, data visualisation tools and related technologies to identify, design and run data driven solutions that will assist us to perform data enabled assurance, monitoring and reporting activities.

About the role
As Data Analyst, you'll support the Internal Audit team on data collection and analysis solutions to deliver impactful audits using data, using automation to maximise efficiency in repeatable data collection, data analytics and other standards for consistency and reusability in audits.
We'll look to you design and build data visualisation to engage audiences, enabling effective storytelling, and support the development and reporting of root cause analysis. You'll also be tasked with measuring, reporting and feeding back on departmental quality assurance metrics.
You may be asked to support the Internal Audit Managers in performing audit tests of controls by obtaining and analysing audit evidence, preparing audit work papers, evaluating test results and drawing conclusions on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls.
The role is based from either of our Head Offices near London Bridge, or Norwich, although we're flexible in our approach to working from home.
About You
You will be able to work confidently and proficiently with data and actively identify data gaps and other data quality issues, contributing ideas to solve the problem and creating tailored data solutions.
You will need a good understanding of Microsoft applications, specifically Power BI and related technologies, and you'll have some experience of process mapping & data analysis.
If you currently in a data analyst role or a similar role where you work with lots of data, and have strong data visualisation skills; with the ability to identify and analyse information to produce impactful reporting, then we very much look forward to receiving your application.

If you have the relevant experience, we'll invite you to an informal catch up with the Director of Audit & Risk.
If you are selected for interview, this is how the process will look:
We'll ask you to deliver a 10 minute presentation showcasing your skills in data analysis and visualisation followed by a role based interview.
The panel will consist of the Director of Audit & Risk and one other member of the leadership team.
