Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, we are now looking for a Community Housing Officer – General Let & Leasehold in North Manchester.

As Community Housing Officer – General Let & Leasehold, you will take a digital first approach to service delivery, providing a highly visible community-based service, engaging with residents on a day-to-day basis. You’ll respond to residents’ queries and feedback in a timely manner, always striving to improve customer satisfaction. Using your knowledge of housing management, including voids, lettings, income collection, anti-social behaviour, and tenancy management, you’ll deliver a responsive and sensitive service to those who are at risk, making referrals where appropriate to relevant agencies. You’ll strive to improve the quality of life of residents through effective case management, providing an attractive environment and creating better neighbourhoods leading to successful and sustainable communities.

Our Team

Our team is really lovely (if we don’t mind saying so ourselves!). You’ll join our team of Community Housing Officers, who are all passionate about delivering outstanding services to customers, as well as working with likeminded people, you will use the most recent up to date technology. We don’t just provide support to our customers, we support each other too. We work incredibly hard, but we also like to have fun!

About You

Our Community Housing Officer will have previous experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a dispersed team. You’ll be a great communicator who puts customers at the heart of everything you do and like having direct contact with residents. Able to encourage participation and facilitate resident engagement, you will be adaptable and embrace change and have the ability to develop partnerships to support vulnerable residents and prevent social isolation.
