We are currently looking for a Data Officer to join our property services department, you will  provide the delivery teams within Property Services with information and data required to meet targets and support the delivery of the Asset Management Strategy by reporting on progress against targets and providing data as required. This role would be suitable for a graduate seeking a new opportunity.  

What you will be doing:  

  • Responsible for gathering stock condition data; ensure all properties are surveyed once every five years and be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of stock condition survey management. 

  • Identifying suitable and sufficient data about our assets to maintain them and monitor their compliance with relevant regulations. 

  • Supporting the implementation of projects and systems for the team / department. 

  • Challenging and testing current data systems and collection processes to ensure consistent, accessible and auditable data sources. 

  • Working with Asset Data Manager to produce planned works programmes. 

 

 We’d love to meet someone with:   

  • Highly numerate with an excellent practical knowledge of statistical techniques, data manipulation and reporting.  

  • Demonstrable excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels. 

  • Strong presentation, verbal and written skills. 

  • Methodical, articulate and inquisitive.  

  • A good working knowledge of MS office, Excel in particular and other specialist software packages. 

  • Ability to work without guidance but also be committed to work in a positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders.  

  • Good level of general education.
