We are working with one of the largest housing associations to recruit two Project Managers to help deliver major regeneration and investment opportunities in London. The post holders will be working on high profile, large joint venture new residential development projects (one in West London and one in East London). Both are long term phased projects that will involve the development of approximately 3,000 new homes. Hybrid working is available part home/part office based.

As Housing Development Project Manager you will:

  • Project manage a portfolio of regeneration and JV equity investment projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Provide day to day support for  large, complex regeneration housing development schemes from acquisition to practical completion and support on-site handovers
  • Take responsibility for all project documents and paperwork, updating databases, appraisal model and risk registers
  • Provide monthly updates on expenditure, monitor cash flow, budgets and programme forecasting
  • Manage project finances and help to produce regular finance and Board reports
  • Ensure H&S, regulatory & governance compliance
  • Liaise with consultants and internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend site meetings and site inspections to monitor progress
  • Assist with the handover of units from contractors to the sales team

The ideal candidate for the post of Project Manager will need:

  • Experience of housing development and project management ideally from a Housing Association or Housebuilder
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of statutory legal and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with a mix of audiences in writing and face-to-face
  • Financial modelling and business planning skills including the ability to respond to unplanned demands or situations
  • Ability to negotiate beneficial and robust legal agreements with business partners and clients
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others whilst managing a busy workload
  • Access to a car to travel to development sites
