Guinness was founded in 1890, so we have been providing homes and services for nearly 130 years. We’re proud of our heritage, and excited about our future. What we’re here for hasn’t changed – to improve people’s lives and create possibilities for them. We’re committed to providing great homes and services to our customers across the country.

We’re looking for an experienced and driven Development Manager, who shares our vision and values, to join our team based in London to help us deliver a programme of up to 1,000 homes each year.

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager you’ll be joining a dynamic and motivated team with a supportive, progressive culture who truly value each other’s contributions and innovative ways of thinking.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of large, complex mix-use development projects. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some exciting, innovative projects from 50 homes up to 1000 homes in size including our Major projects at Leaside, Bromley by Bow and Signal Park, Tolworth.

We’re looking for someone with substantial Housing Development & Regeneration experience gained within a large complex housing organisation/council of a similar size. You’ll have experience with both multi-storey and multi-tenure builds/regeneration works and an extensive knowledge of urban development within and around the city of London. You’ll have strong technical knowledge on site activities, construction management or a project management background and a full understanding of the defects process.

If you’re interested in finding out more about the key responsibilities of the role and/or to ensure you meet the essential criteria, please review the attached role profile. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
