Hackney Council are seeking a property professional with significant asset management and staff management skills to lead on the implementation of the Council's Asset Management Strategy, formulating annual plans and performance targets to ensure that the strategy is delivered effectively, make strategic investment decisions, and have strategic responsibility for developing technical standards for the housing stock. You will also provide a business support function to the service and will have responsibility for approximately fifteen staff.

You will be a motivational leader with strong organisational and planning skills together with strong problem-solving skills and strong IT knowledge.

You are likely to have had significant experience in asset management within a social housing context. You are likely to have a degree in a relevant discipline such as property, building or surveying.
