Role – Graduate Data Analyst

A bit about the role and person

35 hours per week, permanent

Working with our Data & Information team, the core focus of this role is to ensure that Accent are making the best use of data and information in a safe, secure and compliant way to deliver better services for our customers.

This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate who has a keen interest in data and technology trends and who wants to help identify and propose opportunities for improvement; challenging the status quo and breaking down barriers to change.

You will handle internal customers data requests, prepare reports, tables, charts and tell a story with the results. You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of robust and reliable data to the business stakeholders. You will work within a team to analyse data identifying exceptions, anomalies, trends and business implications.

Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:

  • Strong data or mathematical analytical background.
  • Data analytics/business intelligence qualifications or experience.
  • Experience of understanding and solving real-world problems relating to the use of data and information.
  • The ability to be able to communicate complex issues at all levels within an organisation.
  • Understanding of capability of BI products such as PowerBI or Qlik.

 

 

Location

Here at Accent we’re a keen promoter of agile/hybrid working and encourage the use of working from home, as long as we meet our customer’s needs.

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

There will be an expectation to work on site, attending meetings time to time and should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system

Salary

The starting salary for this post is £28,668 per annum. The salary will be reviewed and increased over time in line with your development & performance, to a maximum of £33,726.
