Is this a mission you’d love to have a helping hand in? We are looking for a graduate who is enthusiastic, keen to learn and develop their skills in project management and the delivery of housing schemes within THT’s housing development company, Laurus Homes.

What does Laurus Homes do?

Laurus Homes is fast becoming one of the most exciting developers within the North-West. We’re a very different kind of property development company. We use our profits to lend a helping hand through affordable housing and community projects. We design homes with a range of options for everyone, including shared ownership and Help to Buy scheme to help getting on the ladder that little bit easier.

The Graduate Project Manager will work in the Delivery team to support our Project Managers with the delivery of schemes on site from contract stage through to Practical Completion.

The candidate:

We are looking for the following:

  • Relatable degree would be desirable e.g., Geography, Construction,
  • Enthusiasm for the role & Laurus Homes.
  • Ability to understand and be understood, both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a great team player.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • High level of IT literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, plus the ability to learn new IT systems

Please note a full driving licence and access to a car is required for the role.

Our graduate programme provides structured training and skill development over 2-3 years to become a fully qualified Project Manager with the ability to independently manage projects within our exciting programme. You will undertake a Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship to hone your project management skills, gaining valuable work experience so you can add real value to the organisation. Whilst undertaking the graduate programme your manager will help guide your development and day-to-day work, a mentor will provide extra support throughout your role and you’ll be working alongside experienced colleagues to learn hands on, work-based skills.
