Hyde is looking to create a Diversity and Inclusion Lead to support the business.

Main Purpose of Role

  • Provide focus, leadership and expertise on diversity and inclusion across Hyde
  • Partner with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams and the Group Board to educate, influence and drive change helping to create and sustain an inclusive culture.
  • Act as a point of scrutiny and challenge to ensure diversity and inclusion runs through the business, holding senior leaders to account to drive critical diversity/inclusion related actions.
  • Work as an advisor and partner to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams and the Group Board to educate, influence and persuade, aligning diversity and inclusion with business objectives.
  • Act as a point of challenge holding senior leaders to account in discharging their responsibilities around equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Scrutinise and challenge key business practices (for example procurement, recruitment, training) to ensure an appropriate focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Coach and counsel leaders and colleagues to influence better decisions related to customer and people practices through a D&I lens.
  • Use D&I data and trends to provide meaningful insight for the business

Essential

  • Must be comfortable discussing, race, ethnicity and other protected characteristics at an executive level
  • Previous experience at coaching and challenging Execs and Board Members essential
  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A track record of improving D&I within an organisation
