We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Housing Operations team based in London. In this role you will lead a large and diverse team delivering high quality Housing Management services to tenants and shared owners across London and South East.

You will be the face of Sanctuary, building relationships with local stakeholders and working in partnership with residents to improve the customer journey. The role of Operations Manager will include:

  • Lead the effective management of all Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) cases in line with the prescribed policies and practices for the local operation to build community cohesion.
  • Ensuring the provision of quality and safe homes for SHSL’s customers and minimising potential risks
  • Develop build and maintain relationships with residents and stakeholders by actively identifying any shortfalls in service delivery
  • Leading the effective management of all complaints for the service area in line with policy, focusing on first contact resolution and the identification of future learning opportunities to achieve customer service excellence
  • Meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing management activities
  • Maintain effective control of all local budgets, and ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures to safeguard the organisation’s financial interests.

Skills and experiences:

  • Institute of Housing qualification or proven knowledge of Housing law and regulation.
  • Recent experience in a similar position within a Housing organisation
  • Proven experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing solutions
  • Some experience of budget preparation and control
  • Experience of managing relationships with stakeholders such as MPs, Councillors, and partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Microsoft Excel (or similar)
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
