Permanent, full time, 37 hours

Closing date: 28th July 2022

Stockport Homes Group is a great place to work! We pride ourselves on building strong collaborative relationships locally, regionally and nationally. We are passionate about not only providing housing and building new homes in Stockport but helping to transform the lives of our customers. We aim to provide comfortable and affordable homes and engage customers and communities.

The Care call Service is one of SHG’s core support services, providing 24hr Telemonitoring and Falls Response services to nearly 5000 people living in Stockport. Following recent success with Carecall’s ‘Universal Offer’ the service aspires to grow its customer base further and occupy the market nationally, as well as locally.

To achieve these ambitions Carecall will need to undertake both digital and service transformation, ensuring a successful analogue to digital (A2D) switchover is completed and that the service’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) offer is continually improved to provide an innovative service, which delivers tangible outcomes for customers and Health & Social Care partners.

We’re currently recruiting for a TEC Service & Transformation Manager to enable customers to live independently in their own home and help them to feel safe and secure, knowing help is at hand if needed.

You will possess the industry knowledge and technical expertise to successfully lead this service and its transformation – taking accountability for the day-to-day operation as well as the improvement and growth strategies. You will be supported by dedicated Project Management and the Head of Service but will take a leading role on driving continual improvement and must be self-motivated and confident to work independently, making strategic decisions about the direction of the service.

Our ideal candidate will have experience / knowledge of:

  • Successfully managing, engaging and empowering operational teams and delivering TEC (Technology Enabled Care) services which put the person at the centre.

  • Achieving TSA Quality Standards Framework accreditation (or similar).

  • The problems and issues that customers (especially older households) face and how TEC can assist them.

  • Having good business and commercial acumen to continually explore opportunities to sell services to other agencies and attract funding through pooling of resources or through effective external funding bids.

  • Be truly passionate about Technology Enabled Care and the benefits that can be achieved for users.

It is important to us that we have a diverse workforce, representative of the communities we work in. Equality, diversity and inclusion is important to us and we like to acknowledge that everyone is different. We’re always looking to improve diversity within our teams and across the group, so we would welcome any applications from any underrepresented groups.
