A bit about the role and person

35 hours per week, permanent, remote

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asset Data Manager, where you’ll be the strategic lead for asset data!  The richness of the data we hold must be brought to life and made widely available to inform investment / divestment needs of the homes portfolio, leading to solutions focussed outcomes.

We want our people and our customers to be proud of the homes we provide, and you have a key part to play in this.

Whilst we have key responsibilities and these can be found in the job description, there are certain things we will need from you:

  • Excellent data and analytical skills and experience of dealing with large data sets
  • Knowledge and experience in data modelling and data cleansing
  • Experience working in a social housing environment. Three years’ experience of conducting core homes management activities at manager level
  • An expert operator in maximising homes management data (stock condition, energy, HHSRS) to achieve optimum outcomes
  • Strong track record of producing homes condition programmes, offering full archetype and attribute coverage
  • Excellent understanding and analysis of asset performance to inform plans to improve the quality of homes portfolios
  • Understanding of Net Present Value (NPV) of properties and other asset performance based metrics
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to succinctly articulate opportunities for improvements to the stock portfolio
  • Fully conversant with asset management systems, and the creation of management reporting requirements
  • Ability to create healthy and constructive partnering relationships with all internal & external stakeholders
  • Numeracy and literacy skills essential. IT literacy, confident in use of MS Office applications, with a high level of competence using MS Excel in particular, as well as the ability to use company operational software

Location

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £54,000 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
