Job Vacancy – Ground Worker (Fixed Term Contract)

Salary:  £28,846 - £29,529

Hours:  36.25 hours per week

Duration: Fixed term contract until March 2023

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Ground Worker in our Property Services Team. Reporting to an Assistant Manager, the main responsibilities of the role are to:

• Carry out all aspects of groundwork and drainage, including diagnosis and repair of drainage to all domestic and commercial properties
• Carry out ground repairs to all types of pathways, driveways and hardstanding areas to all commercial properties
• Undertake fencing repairs and replacement to all domestic and commercial properties
• Provide excellent customer service and take ownership for all customer queries or issues relevant to the role
• Be fully aware of the repairs service promises and KPI’s and adhere to them
• Monitor own van stock levels and replenishments

The Candidate

• A core qualification in ground working and drainage to NVQ level is essential for this role and/or proven practical application in a similar environment
• Excellent customer service skills and previous experience dealing with a variety of customers
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Able to work on own initiative and is and effective decision maker

A van will be provided as part of the role and the successful candidate will have a valid driving licence.
