We have new opportunities for two Data Engineers to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Guinness’s data capability, ensuring the group wide data platforms are fit for purpose, developed, enhanced and maintained accordingly. You will also work on the data integration and ingestion that are aligned with group standards, Data, IT and Business strategy.

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive experience of Microsoft SSIS, SSMS.
  • Very strong SQL skills, including T-SQL.
  • Experience of Microsoft data warehousing technologies and approaches.
  • Significant exposure and experience of develop data solutions to meet current and planned business needs.
  • Understanding of data management concepts such as traceability, lineage, system of record and authority, master data and reference data.
  • Strong data modelling skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Worked in an Agile, SCRUM and waterfall environments.
  • Knowledge of Housing Sector/Social care, systems and applications.
  • Dynamics CRM and Oracle Financials data development experience.
  • Microsoft ADF, ELT and DevOps experience.
  • Azure Data Warehouse/Azure Synapse Analytics as well as the wider Azure stack, Azure Kubernetes experience.
  • Python experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Computing or Mathematical discipline degree or equivalent.

Please note we currently have a hybrid work model where we are based in the office 2 days a week and at home 3 days a week.
