FRONTLINING FUTURES

We’re on the hunt for a housing officer to hit the ground running, are you hunting for a new challenge with an ambitious organisation and ready to join us on our mission to deliver ‘Great Places’, Great Services’, and ‘Great Tomorrows’.

You’ll be ready to deliver a broad range of services to our customers across Amber Valley.

Using your practical knowledge and problem-solving you’ll be providing a customer-focussed approach.

Far from being bound to your desk, you’ll be given the technology to decide where and how you work. Drop in to one of our touchdown points to catch up on admin or work from home for the morning if it saves you sitting in traffic at 8:00 am.

This role will give you the perfect platform to showcase your housing background and the skills you’ve gained in a range of tenancy matters from sign-ups, tenancy breaches, safeguarding, domestic abuse issues and attending court.

THAT SOUNDS LIKE ME. WHAT CAN YOU OFFER?

If you’re successful, you’ll be joining a dynamic organisation with an amazing culture. We offer competitive benefits that include agile working, mileage, private healthcare options, discount schemes and with a big emphasis on health and well-being. You’ll also have great opportunities to grow and develop, personally and professionally, but the greatest reward will be knowing you’re helping people and communities across our region to thrive.

It’s an exciting time of change at Futures Housing Group! We’ve moved our main office to a state-of-the-art, flexible new workspace. So, with the local touchdown points available to you and great agile working kit, you’ll have great people and a great environment around you.

We’ve recently signed up to Harry’s Pledge, a campaign to support people who are working but also looking after a friend or family member who needs extra help. We know balancing work and caring is tough and that’s why we have an extra focus on supporting team members in this situation.

This year we’ve been awarded the coveted Investor in People Platinum award – the highest of IiP accreditation. The award recognises organisations which are passionate about making sure all employees get the best experience at work.

To start your Futures Journey take a look at our Role Profile and check your diary! Interviews are planned for 1st stage, July 15 & 18 and 2nd stage July 27 & 28.
