Salary: £38,147  

Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester  

Contract: Permanent, Full Time   

Hours of work 39 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Surveyor to join us. 

 

You’ll assist the Project Manager in the delivery of major Investment and planned maintenance programmes and in the management of WCHG housing stock and office assets. 

 

Duties will include but are not limited to:  

 

  • Assist in the project management and delivery of major Investment and Planned Maintenance projects throughout the portfolio area from inception to completion 

  • Identify opportunities for, and establish partnership work in Wythenshawe and regionally with other agencies 

  • Investigate, establish, deliver and manage new initiatives and projects across the covered area 

  • Supervision of Contractors on site and provision of an effective Contract Administration function.  

 

 

The successful candidates will have good contract management skills, with clear evidence of success in delivering projects and initiatives which have Investment and Regeneration related outcomes. Having held a similar role, you’ll have sound knowledge of building maintenance, and defects pathology and of building contract terms and conditions and a good understanding of regeneration and Urban Renewal issues. As Minimum you’ll hold a HND/C or equivalent qualification experience in a construction related field.  

 

The candidates will possess a full UK driving licence, have excellent IT and problem-solving skills and must be customer focused.
