Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts and key performance information quickly and accurately to enable effective management decisions to be taken. You will also be the liaison point with operational managers to enable them to understand the financial performance of their areas.

This is a key finance position for a fully qualified accountant which will enable you to use and develop your inter-personal and business partnering skills whilst providing a quality service and influencing decisions in a growing and innovative organisation.  

Our ideal candidate will have:-

  • Knowledge and understanding of management and financial accounting through to the production of final accounts.
  • Demonstrable accounting experience in a multi cost centre organisation.
  • Experience of trouble shooting, problem solving and analysing information in an accounting context
  • Excellent IT Skills including Sun Accounts/Vision (Q&A) or similar
  • The ability to manage and develop team members
  • A positive “can do” attitude with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills

Fully Qualified ((CIPFA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA/AAT) is also essential.
