Laurus Homes is fast becoming one of the most exciting developers within the north west, we are looking for an experienced Interim Sales Progressor to our Sales Team to cover a period of maternity leave. As our Interim Sales Progressor you will be responsible for assisting the progression of new build sales promptly and efficiently from reservation to completion, liaising with company solicitors and internal departments.

To be a success Laurus Homes Sales Progressor you will need to be customer focussed and a willing team player to be part of a busy and faced paced sales team. Previous experience or knowledge of the property sales progression would be a massive benefit. But most importantly we are looking for someone with the tenacity and persistence to push all sales through to set deadlines.

Reporting to the Sales Progression Manager, the main duties of the role are as follows:

The Role

  • Responsible for supporting the progress of reservations through to exchange and completion, working closely with the Regional Sales Managers and Sales Advisors, communicating between them and the company solicitors
  • Proactively communicate and inform Sales Managers of any problem plots or where assistance is required to achieve completions target on a daily/weekly basis
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Advisors to ensure efficiency of customer experience and the delivery of sales targets
  • Liaise with the Development Team over technical legal queries relating to the sales legal pack to ensure targeted exchange deadlines are achieved
  • Liaise with Brokers, Solicitors and the Sales team to check that mortgage and legal processes are proceeding to achieve target timescales
  • Produce weekly exchange target reports issue, chasing for updates throughout the week
  • Produce and issue the forecast completions schedule once a week to the sales teams.
  • Liaise with the Delivery Team and Regional Sales Managers when agreeing fixed completion dates and serving notice to complete
  • Process and audit in-house CRM systems for all plot sales progression activities
  • Report back to the Head of Sales on a weekly basis if exchange targets have not been met
  • Approve shared ownership mortgage offers and all plot sales completion statement prior to legal completion
  • Generate general customer letters/emails, e.g. pre-contract meeting letters, intention to complete letters, progression updates etc
  • Perform general office administration tasks, as and when required, to meet the needs of the department – e.g. faxing, filing, photocopying, fielding telephone calls
  • Hold monthly meetings with company solicitors and panel partners for performance management and plot sales queries
  • Provide adhoc on-site support with Sales Advisors as required
  • Support as required for processing contract administration including signing in line with organisation procedure

The Candidate

  • Experience of home sales progression in either residential house builder or estate agency
  • Educated to GCSE Level standard or equivalent, including English and Maths
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Proactive and flexible in terms of workload
  • Computer literate including use of CRM systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills and previous experience of dealing with customers is required
