Contract Type: 6 month FTC / Secondment

We are looking for a Community Warden to join our Housing Services team in March.

What you'll be doing

You'll be providing a local responsive service to tenants ensuring estates are free from litter, graffiti and are well kept. You'll be supporting the Neighbourhood Teams and responding to urgent situations and reporting on repair needs. You'll carry out thorough regular estate inspections and liaise with estate contractors, residents and teams ensuring that estates and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard.

Customer focussed with a genuine desire to improve the community you'll positively encouraging our residents to become involved in Estate Inspections You'll have the ability to plan your own time and be able to drive a 3.5 tonne truck.

You'll be tasked with picking up bulk rubbish and taking it to the tip as well as moving other items from communal areas on our estates, if safe to do so, in and around Cambridge and Suffolk.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone with experience of customer service in a Housing environment who has excellent communication skills and the ability to plan their own workload. You'll have the proven ability to engage with service users along with good IT skills.

You'll need to have a positive approach, good problem solving skills and be able to work on your own initiative putting our residents at the heart of our service delivery.
