We’ve got an incredible opportunity to join our People, Culture & Change team in the position of People, Performance & Process Manager!

Our People, Culture & Change team ensure our that our colleagues have access to People Services and support wherever they work, to ensure we deliver our customer promise.

Leading, inspiring, and empowering the People & Places team, the People, Performance & Process Manager will drive the team performance through ensuring best use of HR systems, streamlining processes, and improving service quality. You will work with colleagues across the team to create, implement and deliver on the system elements of the People Strategy, supporting the organisation to achieve its wider objectives.

You’ll also work with senior managers and directors to understand their People and Places related issues to develop and provide solutions that mitigate risks and provide an excellent colleague experience. You will champion our digital people services systems, providing specialist advice, coaching, and upskilling so that colleagues are equipped and competent in their use, and project manage as necessary for design, implementation, build, test and go live of relevant People team systems and processes, ensuring alignment to strategic and people objectives.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly personable and pragmatic.
  • Have HR or Organisational Development experience.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of employment law, HR or L&D best practice as well as the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Be insight driven, at ease with data and analytics to demonstrate impact and return on investment.
  • Have demonstrable experience and understanding across a range of IT systems, including experience of iTrent, Learning Management Systems and Cherwell, able to identify where these can be improved and utilised further.
  • Be an inspiring leader, building, managing, and engaging the People & Places team as well as the wider organisation.
  • Be an excellent communicator, able to build credible relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Be a strong team player - collaborative, passionate and willing to help others.
  • Be well organised, able to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Appointment to this role will be subject to satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
