Business Solutions Technician – 12 months’ Fixed Term Contact  

High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire with Hybrid working 

Salary £51,750 plus Excellent Benefits  

Permanent, Full Time Position 

37 Hours per week Monday to Friday, flexibility on start and finish times 

 

 

About the role: At Paradigm we are currently in the process of implementing the Civica CX Housing Management System. We’re looking for someone with great communication skills to interpret and transform Paradigm’s aspirational process designs into Civica’s CX Housing Management System.  

 

You’ll work closely with SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) and Business Analyst’s to understand and shape requirements and aspirational system designs and you will challenge and contribute to system designs to ensure highest level of efficiency gains, customer experience, and value for money are achieved. 

 

 

About you 

You should be data savvy with the ability to inspire confidence and trust with senior stakeholders and convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Shaping aspirational system changes and building robust Case and Task workflows within the CX Housing Management System will be a key part of the role. 

Coaching and mentoring other colleagues to build and configure workflows is another key aspect along with challenging and contributing to system designs to ensure a high level of value for money and Customer experience. 

 

 

To be successful in this role you must be/have:  

  • A logical approach to problem solving with a methodical, investigative, and inquisitive mind  
  • Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to adopt varying styles to be able to explain complex information to a wide variety of audiences.  
  • An Eagerness and aptitude to learn new skills.  
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.  
  • A strong, positive work ethic.  
  • Civica CX knowledge and experience is not an essential requirement but would be highly beneficial. Sufficient training in Civica can be provided for the right candidate.

Where could this role take you?  

Whilst this is not currently a permanent role, in a business our size and with the transformation we are going through, there is a possibility that this could either be extended, made permanent or other opportunities may arise; many of our talented colleagues started at Paradigm as temporary/interim and have gone on to forge successful careers with us. However, if something longer term doesn’t materialise, you will still gain valuable experience which will add to your employability in this and similar fields.
