 *This role currently offers agile working with attendance at our Chesterfield office expected around 50% of the working week.

Rykneld Homes manages over 7,500 homes throughout North East Derbyshire which is located on the edge of the beautiful Peak District.

We now have an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for social housing to provide leadership to our Rents Team. The post of Rent Collection Manager is an ideal position for an experienced housing professional to use their knowledge and expertise to manage and develop the team.

We are looking for someone with a proven rents/income management background to ensure the team delivers an excellent, customer focused Rents service on time, accurately and in line with legal, regulatory and policy requirements. We are looking for candidates with experience of successfully leading, and developing staff, ensuring processes and procedures are followed correctly at all times, together with substantial experience of rent and service charge management in the social housing sector.

The role requires excellent IT skills, attention to detail and experience of using housing management financial systems, with a confident approach to communication and a positive attitude and commitment to high standards of service delivery.

Candidates will be able to prioritise work effectively, be used to working to tight timescales, resolving queries quickly and continually reviewing key priorities and targets. With significant experience of monitoring, improving and reporting on service performance, this role will also have responsibility of overseeing the escalation of cases to court where necessary, following all legal and internal processes with confident presentation at court on behalf of Rykneld Homes.

This role will form part of a team of high performing operational mangers who work collaboratively to improve service provision. With an ability to motivate and lead the team, provide support and training to staff, ensuring they can effectively perform their role, candidates will relish the opportunity to work as part of a team looking for ways to continuously improve the service, systems and processes.
